By train

At Gare de Perrache: take the Tramway T1 direction IUT-Feyssine and stop at “Université Lyon 1”. You should buy tickets before boarding, from the automatic machines.

At Gare de la Part-Dieu: exit on the west side (boulevard Vivier Merle), and walk
slightly towards your right in the direction of the shopping mall (with the huge video screen). The tramway stop is just in front of the mall entrance/video screen. Then, take the Tramway T1 direction IUT-Feyssine and stop at “Université Lyon 1”. You should buy tickets before boarding, from the automatic machines.
An alternative is to take Tramway T4 direction La Doua - Gaston Berger, exiting on the other side of the train station and stop at “Université Lyon 1”.

At the Université Lyon 1 stop: walk a few minutes to the DIRAC building(cf. plan)

By Car

 From Geneva: Highway Geneva -> Lyon via Nantua; after toll, go ahead to Lyon Centre / Villeurbanne. Then, take the direction Périphérique Nord - Porte de la DOUA. Exit to Porte de la DOUA, direction "Domaine scientifique". At the third traffic lights, take left to campus. The building in front of you is IPNL.

 From Paris: Highway Paris -> Lyon; after toll at Villefranche-sur-Saône, take highway A46 direction Marseille (about 20 kms), then direction Lyon Center / Villeurbanne. Then, take the direction Périphérique Nord - Porte de la DOUA. Exit to Porte de la DOUA, direction "Domaine scientifique". At the third traffic lights, take left to campus. The building in front of you is IPNL.

 From Marseille: Highway Marseille -> Lyon. After toll at Vienne, take highway A46 direction Paris (about 30 kms), then direction Lyon Center / Villeurbanne. Then, take the direction Périphérique Nord - Porte de la DOUA. Exit to Porte de la DOUA, direction "Domaine scientifique". At the third traffic lights, take left to campus. The building in front of you is IPNL.

 From Annecy or Grenoble: Highway (A43) -> Lyon. About 20 kms after toll take the direction Péripherique Nord, Paris/Bourg en Bresse, Exit to Porte de la DOUA, direction "Domaine scientifique". At the third traffic lights, take left to campus. The building in front of you is IPNL.

By plane

 At the airport St Exupéry, three alternatives: taxi, [Shuttle Rhône Express from the airport to the Part Ddieu train station in less than 30 minutes, rented car (direction: Lyon -> Villeurbanne -> La Doua).
